Autumn

Autumn

An innovative programme for parents and educators of the 21st century. So to let children grow free and creative.

My first books were released in 2008 and were called “We grow together. Winter” and “We grow together. Autumn”. Ten years later after the first books appeared, these books were supplemented, re-released and new books were released as well. You can now find all four books in bookstores, divided into four seasons: autumn, winter, spring, and summer. You will find practical advice and tasks in these books on how to develop a child in a context – today’s, local, and global.

“The idea to write books came to me already when I was working at a Saturday school in Belgium, where I began to follow the principles of contextual education. After more than ten years of observations, based on my own empirical research and those of other scholars such as Scott Barry Kaufman and Ken Robinson, I began to develop a system of education that would suit the needs of children in the 21stcentury. Today’s children not only need a clear structure, but also creative freedom and conditions for conscious learning and creation in an unpredictable, constantly changing world. The system of contextual education emerged in search of harmony between theory and practice, constantly applying and developing active education methods, adapting to the needs and challenges of the 21st century.”
