The Teachers’ Academy is a unique continuing teacher development project that began in 2010, when the first kindergarten “Vaikystės sodas” was opened. “Vaikystės sodas” and the Queen Morta School are constantly moving forward and improving their education systems, thus we have been organizing the Teachers’ Academy in both organizations up to now. In this way, we ensure that both long-working educators and newly arrived employees are genuine professionals in their field.
Every spring, an educational conference is organized for all those involved in pedagogical work or those who are actively interested in education. At the conference, we talk about education in an interesting way, we share unusual professional insights and ideas, we show the wonderful side of the work of teachers – how we change the lives of young people, how we inspire them to dare, how we change Lithuania.
“A Resilient Girl” is a social project run by “Vaikystės sodas” and the Queen Morta School in order to enable parents, teachers and other educators to take off rose coloured glasses when looking at their children and not to hide them into sex stereotype boxes. Discussions and conferences on the theme of gender equality are constantly organized, and cooperation with various partners who pursue the same goals take place.
